Build Session #2

The University of Toronto Troitsky Bridge Building Team continued its preparation for the upcoming competition with a practical second build session. Teams returned to refine their initial structures, concentrating on strengthening key areas and addressing issues identified during the first session. The focus shifted toward improving load distribution, joint accuracy, and structural stability.

This session highlighted ongoing challenges, including material limitations and design inefficiencies. Teams methodically tested new approaches, making adjustments to their bridges while weighing the trade-offs of different strategies. Conversations centered on practical problem-solving and design refinement rather than sweeping overhauls.

Club executives remained available to provide guidance, offering practical feedback on technical issues and suggestions for improving construction methods. Their support helped teams better navigate persistent challenges without promising quick fixes. As teams progress, there is still considerable work to be done before reaching competition readiness. The second build session served as a necessary step in the long process of refining designs and preparing for stress testing in future workshops.
