This week, Asim, on of the design directors taught everyone how to create, resize, and mirror objects in AutoCAD. This program is an important aspect of the competition since it allows everyone to visualize their bridge better and it also helps explain to the judges how they thought through the design.
Hopefully, the workshop helped you realize how versatile and dynamic AutoCAD in creating your bridge models. Our next workshop will be more specific and everyone will begin designing the bridges that they will eventually build. So, start talking with your team and begin planning!
