The Troitsky executive team attended the F!rosh week club’s fair! We had such a great time telling all the new first years about our club and how to get involved.
We explained how this design team allows students to get more personal, hands-on experience compared to other teams because unlike in other design teams, you are responsible for designing and executing your bridge and the execs will support you throughout the process, this really helps one utilize the skills we have been learning by applying them and then seeing the outcome during the competition.
To our table, we brought bridges from previous years and lots of pictures of the 2023 competition weekend in Montreal. That was our first year back in person after Covid-19 and we had lots of fun! The entire weekend was planned for by the Concordia Troitsky Competition team. We got to Montreal on Friday and attended a welcome party with team presentations, then on Saturday we assembled the bridges and presented to the Judges, and finally, Sunday the crushing ceremony was held. There were also tons of spirit challenges and chances to see the city!
